Hair Benefits:

Henna: Forms a protective coating around the hair, strengthening and thickening each strand. Rich in natural proteins, it conditions, promotes growth and leaves hair soft, shiny and healthy.

Indigo: Naturally enhances hair colour, producing deep, rich shades of brown or black depending on the ratio and method used. It also helps improve scalp health, promotes hair growth and adds natural shine and gloss to hair.

Customisable Colours:

Pure henna produces warm red tones.

Combine with natural ingredients such as Hibiscus, Amla, or Indigo to achieve burgundy, dark brown or black.

Indigo can create black or various shades of brown depending on the ratio used and application method.

Before Application:

Always use indigo with or after henna. Applied alone, indigo may result in green or blue tones.

Wait at least four weeks after using chemical dyes to avoid unwanted colour reactions. Chemical dyes often contain metallic salts and harsh ingredients that can react with herbal dyes.

Strand Test Recommended: If your hair has been chemically dyed, bleached, permed or otherwise chemically treated, always perform a strand test first to check for any adverse reactions.

How to Apply:

Henna Application:

  1. Mix henna with tea, coffee, lemon juice or other acidic liquids to form a thick, yoghurt-like paste.
  2. Allow to cure for a few hours or overnight in a warm place.
  3. Apply to clean hair and leave for up to four hours depending on desired intensity.
  4. Rinse with warm water. Avoid shampoo for 24 hours to allow the colour to develop. Use conditioner if necessary.

Indigo After Henna:

  1. Immediately after washing henna off, mix indigo powder with water and apply.
  2. Leave for 30–60 minutes depending on desired shade.
  3. Rinse with water and a little conditioner, do not shampoo for 48 hours to let the colour to oxide and develop.

Indigo With Henna:

  1. Add indigo to cured henna paste just before use. Perform a strand test to determine the correct ratio and timing.
  2. Apply to hair and rinse with water and a little conditioner, do not shampoo for 48 hours.
